6 Days Left: The Final Countdown to Teacher Survival

bright yellow background, a countdown clock, 6 days left.

We’re down to single digits and honestly, no one’s okay.

The last few days of school are a time warp. Somehow it’s 8:15 a.m. and 4:07 p.m. at the same time. The kids are checked out, the teachers are running on fumes, and if you hear “What are we doing today?” one more time, you might spontaneously combust.

These are the days when you:

  • Wear the same pair of stretchy pants on repeat

  • Use a movie as your co-teacher (shoutout, Bill Nye)

  • Survive on caffeine, leftover field day snacks, and spite

  • Start mentally packing for your imaginary beach vacation

But also... these are the days when the hugs are extra, the laughs are louder, and the countdown feels oh-so-sweet.

You’ve almost made it. Hang in there, main character. The credits are rolling.
